Legislation proposed to move Quileutes out of tsunami zone
As reported by the Peninsula Daily News, Congressman Norm Dicks and Senator Maria Cantwell have proposed legislation in the House and Senate, respectively, to transfer land from the Olympic National Park to the Quileute tribe. The tribe’s reservation is currently in a tsunami zone.
